Junior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our successful IT team at Acorn Insurance and Financial Services Limited.

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products by working closely with the development team to create and maintain test cases, execute tests, and report defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets user requirements and delivers an exceptional user experience
  • Work closely with the Lead QA Engineer to create and maintain test cases for our software products
  • Report defects and provide feedback to the development team on quality issues

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing, including experience with manual and automated testing
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug issues and read network logs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
