Job Title: Junior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our team at Acorn Insurance and Financial Services Limited.

About the Role:

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying and reporting defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software quality
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements, create test cases, and execute tests
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets user requirements and delivers an exceptional user experience
  • Report defects and provide feedback to the team on quality issues
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing, including experience with manual and automated testing
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug issues and read network logs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
