Teaching Assistant Professional

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in Witney. This role offers the chance to support students' learning while overseeing lessons in the absence of their regular teachers, ensuring that the school's high standards for behaviour are maintained.
This position is ideal for individuals who either have experience in education or those aspiring to build a career in the sector. It's also an excellent stepping stone for recent graduates looking to enter the teaching profession. A minimum of GCSEs in Maths or English (grade C or above) is required.
The successful candidate will manage student behaviour to create a productive and respectful learning environment, supervise lessons set by the class teacher, and support students in completing their tasks. They will also foster positive relationships with students and staff, acting as a role model, and ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of students at all times.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
