Job Description

As a Senior Brand and UI Designer at Barclays, you will play a key role in shaping the bank's digital products and experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design of user-centric digital banking products and experiences, ensuring alignment with customer needs, industry best practices, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize, design, and implement user-centric digital banking products and experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences.
  • Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to visualize design concepts and validate solutions.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks associated with the development and launch of new products.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and design tools within the fintech and banking industry.
Requirements
  • A solid understanding of brand, digital design systems, and pattern libraries.
  • Experience in crafting 'pixel perfect' fully documented, user interface designs for various platforms.
  • Ability to work with and design for brand and digital design systems, as well as challenge and evolve them.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design rationale and advocate for user-centered design principles.
