Job Description

As a Senior Brand and UI Designer at Barclays, you will play a key role in shaping the bank's digital products and experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design of user-centric digital banking products and experiences, ensuring alignment with customer needs, industry best practices, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualise, design, and implement user-centric digital banking products and experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences
  • Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to visualise design concepts and validate solutions
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks associated with the development and launch of new products
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and design tools within the fintech and banking industry
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of brand, digital design systems, and pattern libraries
  • Experience in crafting 'pixel perfect' fully documented, user interface designs for various platforms
  • Ability to work with and design for brand, digital design systems, and pattern libraries
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior designers
