The Role:

Our Home provides a safe and supportive environment for young people with complex trauma-based behaviour.

As a Team Leader, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of the home, providing direct support to children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Line Management: Provide guidance and support to a small team of Childcare Workers, ensuring high standards of care and professional development.
  2. Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized care and risk plans in partnership with referring authorities, therapeutic services, senior management, and educational settings.
  3. Legislation & Compliance: Stay informed on children's homes legislation, regulations, and the Ofsted inspection framework to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
Requirements:
  1. Thorough understanding of current childcare legislation, particularly relating to children in care.
  2. Working knowledge of the Ofsted Inspection Framework for Children's Homes and Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
