Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Communications and Engagement Assistant to join our dynamic team at Notts (Nottinghamshire) Police. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in creating and delivering impactful campaigns that engage our community and promote a safer, more informed public.

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Assist in planning and executing targeted communications campaigns to raise awareness about crime prevention and public safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with our campaigns manager to develop engaging content for our website, social media, and other communication channels.
• Utilize your creative writing skills to craft compelling stories and narratives that resonate with our audience.
• Work closely with our marketing team to ensure consistency and coherence across all our communication materials.

**What We're Looking For:**
• A degree in communications, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of creating engaging content and campaigns.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone and style guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform content and campaign decisions.
• Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools to produce high-quality visual content.
• A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of what drives audience engagement.
