About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Awareness Raising Volunteer. As a representative of Alzheimer's Society, you will play a vital role in raising awareness about dementia and the support services we offer in the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting local events and activities to promote awareness about dementia
  • Holding information stands and displaying leaflets in public areas, such as libraries and GP surgeries
  • Establishing connections with local organisations and community groups to promote our services
  • Ensuring that the information publicised in the community is up-to-date and accurate

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community and has excellent communication skills. If you are a team player who is comfortable working in a variety of settings, we would love to hear from you.

Location

We are seeking a volunteer to cover the area of South Staffordshire, including Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock, Stafford, Burton upon Trent, and Seisdon Peninsula.
