About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our efforts in raising awareness about dementia in the local community. As an Awareness Raising Volunteer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that people who are worried about or affected by dementia are aware of the support and advice services we offer.

You will be responsible for supporting local events, holding information stands, and displaying leaflets in various venues and locations throughout the community. Your task will be to ensure that the information publicised in your community is up-to-date and accurate.

You will also establish connections with local organisations and community groups to help achieve widespread awareness of the support we offer. As a representative of Alzheimer's Society, you will be provided with branded clothing, and you may also have the opportunity to be included in event pictures to showcase the Society's work in the local media.

We are looking for an Awareness Raising Volunteer to raise awareness around events in the area of South Staffordshire, covering Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock, Stafford, Burton upon Trent, and Seisdon Peninsula.

Key Responsibilities:
