Job Title: SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Holy Trinity CE (VA) Primary School.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This will involve working closely with teachers, other support staff, and parents to ensure that students receive the best possible education and care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, tailored to their specific needs and goals.
  • Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring that students with SEND are fully included and supported.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEND support.
