We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution's Runcorn Distribution Centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems, mechanical and electrical equipment, and facilities. This will involve planned preventative maintenance, system breakdowns, defect repair, and general upkeep of the depot facilities and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Investigate and resolve system breakdowns and defects
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues
- Manage on-site projects and technical repairs
- Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians and contractors
Requirements:
- GCSE level C or above with Minimum NVQ Level 3 with an Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic Qualification
- Experience working within a Technical department, especially maintenance
- Experience working on automated conveyor systems
- Good understanding of Health and Safety policies
- Good Technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic equipment
- Excellent understanding of automated equipment and controls
- Electrical/Mechanical skills
Desirable:
- Experience in Pharma Industry
- Experience Managing a technical team
- Ability to read schematic diagrams
- PLC Qualifications
