Executive Pastry Chef Opportunity at The Peninsula London

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at The Peninsula London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences through artistry and uncompromised passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative pastry and bakery concepts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to achieve marketing and business goals and objectives.
  • Control costs and manage inventory to achieve budgeted targets.
  • Work closely with other departments to conceptualize and implement dynamic marketing programmes to drive marketing/PR activities for the pastry.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience in a senior pastry role, supporting a senior executive and minimum 8-10 years in a 5-star hotel with large banquets and pastry shops.
  • Extensive pastry technical knowledge and current culinary trends.
  • High level of creativity and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent time management, highly adaptable, and naturally positive.
  • Fluent English communication proficiency.
