Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Hereford County Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and patients while ensuring compliance with hospital security protocols.
- Respond to security incidents, alarm activations, and reported issues or faults.
- Manage communications, including logging and transferring calls, conveying messages, and providing directions and security guidance.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with staff, contractors, visitors, management, and emergency services.
- Full, valid driving license for efficient mobility.
- Excellent communication skills and situational awareness.
- Proven experience in security roles, preferably in healthcare or similar environments.
- Knowledge of security procedures, emergency protocols, and techniques tailored to site-specific and local safety requirements.
