Security Officer Part Time Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing additional patrols during the night, supporting your colleague in the gatehouse, and monitoring the site for any suspicious activity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company, Constant Security Services Limited, and contribute to the protection of our client's site, property, and valuable assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the site, ensuring the security and integrity of the premises.
  2. Monitor the perimeter fence lines and report any incidents or suspicious activity to the control room.
  3. Perform lock and unlock duties, ensuring that all areas of the site are secure.
  4. Prevent unauthorized access to the site and maintain a high level of security awareness.
  5. Log and report all incidents, ensuring that accurate records are maintained.
  6. Adhere to Health and Safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
  7. Cover gatehouse duties, including access control and CCTV monitoring.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Computer literacy, essential for covering gatehouse duties.
  3. 5+ years of checkable work history, in line with BS 7858.
  4. A smart and presentable appearance, portraying a professional image.
  5. Ability to write clear and concise reports.
  6. A dynamic decision-maker, able to respond to changing situations.
