UKCIL is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to provide care and support to a friendly and easy-going disabled individual living at home.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist the individual with daily living tasks, including preparing breakfast and helping them get ready for their day centre.
- Domestic Care: Perform light housekeeping duties, such as ironing, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare meals for the individual, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Transportation: Provide transportation to and from the day centre, using a personal vehicle with a full UK driving license.
- Compassion and Empathy: A genuine interest in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.
- Reliability and Trustworthiness: A reliable and trustworthy individual who can maintain confidentiality and respect the individual's autonomy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with the individual and their support network.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekend hours, to meet the individual's needs.
