Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Pavement Engineer to join our Asset Management team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing and continuously improving the asset management strategy to deliver efficient and effective maintenance and renewal activities to the Pavement.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining network plans using National Highways and Connect Plus Services Asset management systems.
  • Providing technical support to help the wider business understand the impact of third-party additional works and network improvement schemes on the pavement assets.
  • Assisting with the management and maintenance of National Highways Pavement Management System (HAPMS).
  • Collecting and managing Highway inventory asset data using HD video and uploading into the Asset management systems, Agile assets/CONFIRM databases.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with strong skills and knowledge in pavement engineering and asset management. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of pavement design standards in accordance with the DMRB, MCHW.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme and 25 days annual leave.
