Responsibilities
  • Aggregate sector/market news and trade flows through communication with sell-side traders in order to update Trade Floor
  • Analyze and develop trade ideas in fixed income products
  • Communicate with sell-side traders/economist/strategist in order to understand current market dynamics
  • Support Senior Portfolio Managers in terms of managing client accounts
  • Create tools in order to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Internship Experience
  • The PIMCO Internship Program runs for 10 weeks beginning in early/mid-June 2025
  • During Week 1, you'll participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training, providing you with the skills, knowledge, and relationships that seek to set you up for success
  • Alongside your colleagues, participate in PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering, developed to heighten the impact of our employees' worldwide volunteer efforts
  • Join us for a variety of cross-divisional education, networking, and social events
  • You'll receive guidance and mentorship throughout the summer by your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team
  • You'll receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process to keep you on the path to meeting your summer goals
Eligibility
  • Be an undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of Dec 2025 - June 2026
  • Have a minimum 2:1 degree (or the equivalent) at an accredited college or university
  • Have a field of study that provides exposure to financial/capital markets, economics, mathematics, engineering, or applied sciences
  • Be business proficient in English
