Executive Director of People Services and Organisational Development

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic People leader to join our team as Executive Director of People Services and Organisational Development. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving the transformation of our organisation and ensuring we have the right people in place to deliver our goals.
About the RoleThe Executive Director of People Services and Organisational Development will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our People strategy, ensuring it aligns with our organisational goals and objectives. This will involve working closely with our clinical and non-clinical divisions to understand their needs and develop solutions to support them.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading significant change and transformation programmes, with experience of working across organisations to drive improvement. They will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, able to build strong relationships with staff, stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of our People strategy, ensuring it aligns with our organisational goals and objectives.
- Drive initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness, foster a culture of compassionate leadership and continuous improvement, and promote employee engagement.
- Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensuring we have the right people in key positions.
- Champion employee wellbeing initiatives, ensuring a supportive and healthy work environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including unions, staff representatives and external partners, to build consensus and support for organisational improvements.
The successful candidate will have:
Educated to master degree level relevant to the field of expertise or equivalent senior level of work experience.Evidence of continual professional development.Experience across all major functional areas of HR, including employee relations, organisational development, workforce planning, reward, learning and development.Evidence of working across organisations to lead, introduce and manage significant change and transformation programmes.Experience in strategic planning and development.Committed to developing a culture of openness, diversity and inclusion.Welsh language skills are desirable.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
