Job Opportunity: Field Service Lift Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Lift Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Field Service Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to attend breakdowns and undertake planned servicing, repairs, and modernization of lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend customer sites to attend breakdowns and undertake planned servicing, repairs, and modernization of lifts
  • Install new control panels and provide technical support and advice to customers and other Field Service Engineers to maximise the first-time fix rate
  • Undertake refurbishment, installation, and replacement of lifts in a range of locations, including commercial offices, shopping centres, and private establishments
  • Maintain a professional image at all times to represent the company

Requirements:

  • NVQ3 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
  • Previous experience within a Lift Service/Repair/Modernization position
  • Relevant qualifications for the position, e.g., NVQ Level 3 or Above
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, customers, and management
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and organised
  • Full (clean) UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
  • Based within a commutable distance of Oldham

Benefits:

  • £40,000-£45,000 salary DOE
  • 39 Hours a week (Mon-Thurs 8:00-4:30. Friday 8:00-3:30)
  • 33 days holiday inclusive on bank holiday
  • Overtime available

  • On call rota
  • Pension
