Job Title: Lift Engineer

Our client, a leading provider of lifts to customers across the UK, is seeking a skilled Field Service Lift Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in repairs, service, and modernization of lifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer sites to attend breakdowns and undertake planned servicing, repairs, and modernization of lifts.
  • Install new control panels and provide technical support and advice to customers and other Field Service Engineers to maximize the first-time fix rate.
  • Undertake refurbishment, installation, and replacement of lifts in a range of locations, including commercial offices, shopping centers, and private establishments.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times to represent the company.
Requirements:
  • NVQ3 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
  • Previous experience within a Lift Service/Repair/Modernization position.
  • Relevant qualifications for the position, e.g., NVQ Level 3 or Above.
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, customers, and management.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
  • Full (clean) UK driving license and prepared to travel with the role.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Oldham.
Benefits:
  • £40,000-£45,000 salary DOE.
  • 39 Hours a week (Mon-Thurs 8:00-4:30, Friday 8:00-3:30).
  • 33 days holiday inclusive on bank holiday.
  • Overtime available.
  • Company vehicle.
  • On call rota.
  • Pension.
