Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Breakfast Chef to join our esteemed client's 5-star Country House Estate & Hotel in Kelso.


The ideal candidate will support the Sous Chef and Executive Head Chef in daily operations, supervising the team in their absence and providing exceptional breakfast service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Run a controlled and smooth kitchen service to deliver high-quality food and a luxury experience to guests
  • Display passion for the culinary world and inspire and lead the team
  • Contribute to new ideas by creating and developing seasonal dishes for menus
  • Ensure team members have healthy and fulfilling meals with plenty of choice
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety & hygiene
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations
  • Have full awareness of all menu items for the allocated section of the kitchen
  • Maintain a can-do attitude with a focus on detail and precision


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, quality-driven culinary team
  • Passion for food and delivering high standards for guests
  • Good eye for detail and pride in work
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with ability to build genuine relationships within a team
  • Strong team player with leadership skills
