Work and Health Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Work and Health Coach to join our team in Greater Manchester.
Our client delivers employment, health, and justice contracts across the North of England. They focus on supporting individuals to develop their strengths and make meaningful progress in employment, health, and well-being.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Work and Health Assessment meetings, providing tailored support for employment goals, creating and implementing Action Plans, and connecting with local employers to uncover job opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is warm, empathetic, and capable of building strong relationships. The ideal candidate will have awareness of health and mental health challenges and their impact on employment, knowledge of local health services and employment barriers, and experience supporting individuals with complex needs and engaging with diverse support networks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting Work and Health Assessment meetings (in person and online)
- Providing tailored support for employment goals, including benefits advice and mental health disclosures
- Creating and implementing Action Plans to help participants achieve and sustain employment
- Connecting with local employers to uncover job opportunities, both advertised and hidden
- Collaborating with local partners, clinical teams, and social services to meet participants' needs
We offer a competitive salary of up to £27,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including generous annual leave, flexible working options, and pension scheme contributions.
