**About the Role:** We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our editorial team as an Associate Editor for Nature Climate Change. The successful candidate will play a key role in determining the representation of their field in the journal and will work closely with other editors on all aspects of the editorial process.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Selecting manuscripts for publication
  • Commissioning and editing Reviews and News & Views
  • Writing for the journal
  • Liaising with the scientific community through laboratory visits and international conferences

**Requirements:**

  • MSc/PhD in a relevant field (climate science, environmental science, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with peer review processes

**What We Offer:**

  • Competitive salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Benefits package including pension scheme and life assurance
  • Generous annual leave entitlement

**Location:** Our London office, with the possibility of relocation to New York or Shanghai after training.
