About the Role

GKN Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Procurement Excellence to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global procurement processes, digital solutions, and training programs that support our procurement teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies, processes, and digital solutions that drive business value and improve efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a team of procurement experts to support the implementation of procurement excellence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and prioritize procurement opportunities and develop solutions to address them.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics and provide insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong track record of leading global teams and implementing procurement excellence initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and technologies, including commodity management and digital procurement solutions.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of procurement experts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
