Role Purpose

Ideagen is a leading provider of software solutions that help organizations achieve their goals. As a Software Installations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth deployment of our products to customers around the world.

Our team is responsible for installing, upgrading, and deploying Ideagen software products to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We work closely with project management teams to ensure seamless delivery of Ideagen projects and collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and deploy Ideagen software products to meet customer requirements
  • Document deployment activities to provide information to service delivery teams and support other teams
  • Work closely with project management teams to ensure smooth delivery of Ideagen projects
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support sales and audit activities with Security Operations and Information Security teams
  • Take ownership of issues, proactive tasks, and projects from start to finish

Skills and Experience

  • A natural desire and willingness to learn new technologies and skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to effectively manage your own workload where priorities may change throughout the day
  • Working knowledge of platforms such as IIS and SQL Server
  • Experience using scripting languages to automate tasks such as PowerShell, Python
