We are seeking a skilled Turf Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Arena Racing Company. As a key member of our grounds team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining all areas of the golf course and surrounds in accordance with good sports turf management guidelines and the requirements of the company.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in the Golf sector and hold a NVQ qualification to L3 in Turf Maintenance/Sports Turf Management, or equivalent/higher. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining all areas of the golf course and surrounds
  • Management of all fine turf areas to ensure they are in the best possible condition
  • Forward planning to include daily, weekly, seasonal and annual tasks
  • Carrying out course construction, bunker, tees, greens etc where agreed and as required
  • Presentation of lawns, car park and other clubhouse areas to the highest possible standard
  • Flower beds and hanging baskets maintenance as required
  • Ensuring all roadways are clear of rubbish/dirt
  • Ensuring all golf course machinery and equipment is used as per the manufacturer's general instructions
