Production Line Supervisor

At HireTalent - Diversity Staffing & Recruiting Firm, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Line Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding our packing team to achieve project and organizational goals with efficiency and coherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare work according to production schedule and assign workers production line tasks.
- Evaluate incoming orders and set up the production line accordingly.
- Optimize packing line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
- Identify and resolve production line problems in a timely manner.
- Train and supervise new packing line workers.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time.
- Maintain a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in SOP creation and review process.
- Complete a comprehensive shift report at the end of each shift, record accurately all downtime and inform line manager.
- Recognize high and low performance, and feedback to the line manager.
- Support the line manager on continuous improvement activities.
- Complete weekly stock checks for your department and flag low stock levels to your line manager.
- Excellent knowledge of D365, ability to complete tasks without supervision.
- Identify problems which may occur and take appropriate action to resolve the situation, updating managers or other departments as necessary.
- Ensure housekeeping (clean as you go) and 5S system is strictly adhered to.
- Ensure all team members are trained in all areas of the KR department.
- Monitor, control, and minimize waste. Feedback all issues as well as improvements suggestions.
- Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post e.g. Covering supervisor absence.

Qualifications & Characteristics:
- Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent.
- Clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience in leading teams preferred.
- Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
- Results oriented.
- Ability to work well under pressure and achieve deadlines.
- A flexible approach and a proactive attitude.
