Production Line Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Line Leader to join our team at HireTalent - Diversity Staffing & Recruiting Firm. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding our packing team to achieve project and organizational goals with efficiency and coherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Evaluate incoming orders and optimize the production line to meet customer demands.
- Monitor and improve packing line efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Identify and resolve production line problems in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Train and supervise new packing line workers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and fully operational work environment, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in the creation and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
- Complete comprehensive shift reports, accurately recording downtime and informing line managers.
- Recognize and reward high performers, providing constructive feedback to improve team performance.
- Support line managers in continuous improvement activities, driving process enhancements and cost savings.
- Conduct weekly stock checks, flagging low stock levels to line managers and ensuring timely replenishment.
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of D365, enabling autonomous task completion.
- Identify potential problems and take proactive measures to resolve them, updating managers and other departments as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to the 5S system and housekeeping standards, promoting a clean and organized work environment.
- Train team members in all areas of the KR department, ensuring comprehensive knowledge and skills.
- Monitor and minimize waste, providing feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
- Perform other duties as required, including covering supervisor absences and supporting team members as needed.

Requirements:
- Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in leading teams preferred.
- Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
- Results-oriented.
- Ability to work well under pressure and achieve deadlines.
- Flexible approach and proactive attitude.
