Interfacio Ltd, a renowned UK manufacturer of cutting-edge audio and communications products for broadcast television, radio, gaming, e-sports, and conference solutions industries, is seeking an experienced embedded software and firmware development engineer to design and write code for microcontrollers and other devices across the company's range of proprietary hardware electronic products.

The successful candidate will have already worked on real-world product development projects in the industry and possess a developed knowledge and understanding of embedded systems design. They will be confident in their skills in C/C++ to write robust code and comfortable working independently on product projects while collaborating with a small team of individual contributor and managing engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded firmware code in C/C++ for various devices, including STM32 ARM-based MCUs, RP, and Sharc processors
  • Work on embedded Linux for kernel requirements and other device drivers
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver finished products for different market applications within the business

Requirements:

  • Developed knowledge and understanding of embedded systems design
  • Confident in C/C++ skills to write good and robust code
  • Experience working in the audio or video products field
  • Knowledge of Audio IP network protocols such as Dante and AES67 (beneficial)
