About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Child Care Workers. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a joyful and secure environment for children aged 5 to 18 with severe learning disabilities and/or complex physical health needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide opportunities for new experiences and impart independent living skills.
  • Foster the formation of meaningful friendships outside their familial settings.
  • Engage children in a variety of activities, including sensory play, indoor and outdoor engagements, culinary experiences, and more.
  • Contribute to the overall well-rounded care and support of the children.

What We Offer:

Operate on a 24-hour shift pattern with rotas available six weeks in advance. Be part of a team that works a range of shifts, including days, weekends, evenings, sleep-ins, celebrations, and bank holidays. Receive various training packages to build the required skills and confidence, including the requirement to complete a QCF level 4 within a given timescale if not already obtained.
