Senior IT Project Manager

This is a full end-to-end Project Management role where you will be responsible for managing 2-3 projects at any one time. You will lead the planning, management, and delivery of IT change projects and IT workstreams within Loan Services Change projects. We expect you to be able to manage complex technical project delivery risks, issues, and dependencies in line with agreed corporate governance procedures and manage the delivery of IT solutions from our 3rd party suppliers.

Some key responsibilities include:
  • Upgrading end-of-life portfolio business applications and Microsoft applications.
  • Prioritizing work that supports our strategic, commercial, and technology needs that sit within your control.
  • Promoting the embedding of Agile to progress reporting and metrics, enabling the early identification of areas of uncertainty and blockers to progress, whilst also supporting an iterative benefit delivery.
  • Adopting and utilizing agreed project governance controls such as the use of budget trackers and project delivery forums to ensure consistency in delivery across the portfolio.
  • Supporting CLS UK in their projects.

What will you bring to the role?
You will be a solid 'all-round' Project Manager with experience of working on different IT Projects and you won't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Being able to manage multiple complex projects is key, as well as being able to manage conflicting priorities. Here are the key skills we are looking for:
  • Proven IT project and implementation management skills.
  • Delivered projects within traditional waterfall and/or agile delivery environment.
  • Excellent planning skills, level of detail appropriate to intended audience.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally.
