We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Ak9 Security & FM Solutions LTD.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all staff, contractors, and visitors. This will involve meeting and greeting visitors, preventing trespassers, and maintaining a high level of security and customer service on site.
Key Responsibilities- Meet and greet visitors, contractors, and staff
- Prevent trespassers from entering the site
- Prevent antisocial behavior by providing a security presence and patrolling the internal and external perimeters
- Identify and report any Health & Safety issues around the site
- Undertake regular patrols to monitor the cleanliness of the site and record and report any spillages
- Direct cleaning staff to areas requiring attention
- First point of contact for Police for any incidents and ongoing collaboration regarding sharing of local intelligence
- Preserve assets of clients and site contractors
- Maintain a security log of all activities and incidents occurring during the shift
- Ensure safety regulation compliance at the sites and that PPE is worn where required
- Take necessary action in the event of an emergency
- Must hold a valid frontline SIA Licence or be eligible to obtain one
- Knowledge of working within the security industry
- Experience of working within the security industry (preferable)
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends
- Excellent command of the English language
- Firstrate communication skills verbal and written
- Excellent personal presentation
- Strong, reliable, dedicated individual who is able to be resilient and steadfast at all times
