About the Role

Tarmac is seeking a skilled External Account Manager to join our team in North and West Yorkshire region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing sales of Asphalt, Aggregates, and value-added products, while promoting our range of products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to meet sales targets and budgeted expectations.
  • Engage with all areas of the business to ensure first-class customer service and deliver accurate and timely monthly forecasts.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, and capture and record market knowledge in line with company requirements.

Requirements

  • External sales experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Dedicated and enthusiastic approach, with a self-motivated and resilient mindset.
  • Proven organization skills, time management ability, and ability to successfully influence and persuade.
  • Full UK manual car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
