Job Description:
As a "Project Engineer" with Matchtech, you will work on delivering projects through the design/build/commissioning phases in the Water Sector. Your responsibilities will include working within a team to manage projects, assisting Project and Site Managers with programme and budget, and ensuring Health and Safety compliance on site. You will also be responsible for managing site M&E activities and delivering MEICA projects within the Water Treatment Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the management of engineering disciplines activities and advise Project Managers on progress against project plans.
  • Provide engineering review of method statements and risk assessments proposed for work.
  • Carry out and record briefings of technical updates to the Project team, including sub-contractors and SLPs.
  • Promote best practice and proactively identify additional training and development requirements/opportunities to resource owners.

Requirements:
In order to succeed in this role, you will require a mechanical/hydraulic background with an awareness/understanding of electrical and ICA elements. You must be able to deliver projects (internal inter business unit and external client) through the UK on major water utility companies. Experience working with clean water and sewage treatment is essential, as well as interfacing with partnering infra projects. An estimated salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000 per annum depending on experience.
