Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Reed Engineering. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting new product introduction and defining manufacturing and assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of new product introduction processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain assembly and testing documents and instructions
  • Conduct quality audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement
  • Support the quality team with APQP and 8D investigations
  • Test and validate components and systems to ensure compliance with specifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in low volume mechanical manufacturing, including assembly and test experience
  • Relevant engineering qualifications, such as a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working on development engineering programs, with a focus on quality assurance and control
  • Knowledge of hydraulic components and assemblies, including design and testing
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T
