Job Overview

A clinical supervision specialist is required to oversee the smooth operational running of the Clinic and Main Reception team, ensuring key performance indicators are delivered.

The successful candidate will have the drive and determination to ensure the administration service flows efficiently, be able to provide suggestions and solutions and ensure the service delivery is maintained to a high standard.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Supervise and support the Clinic and Main Reception team, ensuring all processes are carried out efficiently and effectively and key performance indicators are met.
  • Participate in departmental HR tasks such as recruitment, selection, training, performance management and workforce rotas.
  • Be the first point of contact for reception administration issues and work closely with the Outpatient/Ward Clerk Admin Lead and Management team to ensure a mutual understanding of all operational issues.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ level 3 or similar standard qualification or extensive Outpatient experience.

Communication Skills

Essential Criteria

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Experience

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant supervisory experience. Training of staff in the work place.

Skills

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to motivate and lead teams to successfully meet goals and standards. Problem Solving Intermediate Level of Microsoft Office Packages.

Knowledge

Essential Criteria

  • Proven working knowledge of the Data Protection Act. Competent in the use of i.PM. Competent in the Choose & Book System/Agenda plus the implications.

Desirable Criteria

  • ECDL 2,3,4.
