About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. As a key member of our Audiology Service, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to patients with hearing and balance disorders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine audiological assessments, developing and implementing programs of care, and providing support to the Team Lead to achieve service objectives and waiting times targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audiological assessments and develop programs of care to ensure delivery of high-quality care for patients.
  • Provide support to the Team Lead to achieve service objectives and waiting times targets.
  • Undertake continuing professional development and participate in training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Hold a BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification, such as BAAT Parts 1 & 2 with NC Physiological Measurement.
  • Demonstrate some post-qualification experience in audiology.
  • Be registered with The Academy for Healthcare Science (RCCP).
