Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Physics Expert to lead our radiotherapy physics team in the brachytherapy area. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership, working closely with the lead physicist for pre-treatment and the lead physicist for QA and Dosimetry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical physics, with experience in brachytherapy and a proven track record of implementing new techniques. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as Medical Physics Expert, providing expert advice in relation to radiotherapy
  • Lead the development of protocols and competency frameworks for new techniques
  • Support the development of the radiotherapy physics service, including the implementation of new equipment and technologies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
