About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Physics Expert to join our dynamic team as a Lead Physicist for Brachytherapy and IGRT. The successful candidate will provide leadership and strategic direction in the brachytherapy area of radiotherapy physics, working closely with the lead physicist for pre-treatment and the lead physicist for QA and Dosimetry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Medical Physics Expert as defined by legislation, providing expert advice in relation to radiotherapy.
  • Take lead responsibility for the associated documented protocols and procedures for any aspect of the service.
  • Support the development of protocols and competency frameworks for new techniques.
  • Undertake a range of specialist scientific and clinical duties to support all sections of Radiotherapy Physics.
