About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our exceptional care facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule to optimize the performance of all building systems, equipment, and grounds.
  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance for the facility's structure and fixtures.
  • Maintain meticulous records of planned maintenance activities, test results, and service certifications.
  • Ensure adherence to safe working practices when operating hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
  • Conduct regular PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) on all electrical equipment in compliance with regulations.

Your Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven experience in a similar facilities management position.
  • A recognized qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
  • A strong understanding of IT systems.
