About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is a permanent HLTA position starting in September 2024. The successful HLTA will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting class teachers in the delivery of high-quality lessons.
  • Leading small group interventions and providing one-on-one support to students as needed.
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
  • Managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Contributing to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
  • Covering classes in the absence of the teacher when required.
About You
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passionate about supporting student learning and development.
