About the Role:

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a highly committed and professional Relief Support Worker to join our team in Braintree, Essex. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, who have complex needs, including mental health needs and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals in a specialist supported living service, providing person-centred care and promoting independence.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and wider support networks to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Provide direct care and support, including assistance with daily living tasks, and promoting social inclusion and community engagement.
  • Act as a Key Worker, supporting individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service users.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism, including those with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and duty of care.
  • Good health and physical ability to carry out all expected care and daily living tasks.
