About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team in Gloucester. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our organizational strategy and business objectives through the people agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional leaders to ensure the delivery of the organizational strategy and business objectives through the people agenda.
  • Provide expert HR support across the full employee life journey, including attraction, retention, and engagement.
  • Drive meaningful strategic workforce planning to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to transform the HR landscape and positively impact the organization, culture, and people.
  • Work in partnership with expert HR teams to deliver key initiatives and maximize HR expertise delivered to the business.
  • Be a change agent and champion key programs of change.
  • Drive innovation within HR and implement new HR initiatives to ensure they are effectively embedded in response to specific business requirements.
  • Identify and lead opportunities for improvements to HR activities and business performance through the people agenda.
  • Report on key HR data metrics, monitor trends, and work with managers to identify strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • Education to at least Level 3 (AS/A Level or Level 3 qualification), ideally relevant degree level 2:2 or above.
  • CIPD Level 5 or above.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HRBP role.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving change & value-add solutions in a HR generalist role.
  • Ability to develop, build, and maintain credible and effective working relationships at all levels providing constructive challenge where appropriate.
  • Excellent communicator, able to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives and adapt accordingly.
  • Results-focused, coupled with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and its impact on the environment in which the business operates, to anticipate the impact on the workforce.
  • Excellent written and IT skills, including HRM systems and analytical ability.
  • Self-starter, able to work on own initiative, whilst a collaborative team player.
  • Comfortable working operationally as well as strategically.
