Financial Manager Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant/Finance Manager to join our team at Mission 4 Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily and strategic financial needs of our growing business, providing financial guidance, and ensuring sound commercial decisions are made.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise accounts assistants and manage credit control on a daily/weekly basis
- Manage the invoice discounting procedure and weekly payment runs (GBP and FX)
- Calculate monthly foreign exchange requirements and complete monthly accrual and prepayment posting and reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage staff payroll and expenses payments
- Liaise with the Operations team and manage financial and management accounting reporting systems
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out and formulate annual budgets
Requirements:
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and self-motivation with a proactive approach to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and knowledge of Quickbooks accounting package preferred
Working Hours: 9-5 with plenty of free parking
