Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at LIMA Networks LTD. As a key member of our Managed Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate technical issues assigned to you, ensuring the customer is at the forefront of your approach.
  • Technical Escalation: Act as a technical escalation point for 2nd line engineers, providing guidance and support on complex technical issues.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents from customers and LIMA's cloud environment on a priority basis, providing timely updates and ensuring efficient resolution.
  • Problem Management: Progress long-standing or repeat incidents under ITIL problem management processes to ensure reliability for customer environments.
  • Release Management: Support customers through planned release management processes, planning, preparing, conducting, and documenting the process.
  • On-Call Support: Align to the On-Call rota as an escalation engineer, providing support to LIMA customers outside of standard business hours and weekends.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, ideally within a Managed Services team.
  • Troubleshooting Methodology: Excellent troubleshooting methodology and strong experience in identifying and delivering continuous service improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Good communicator at a technical and non-technical level, with experience in mentoring colleagues and managing time and responsibilities.
  • Technical Skills: Strong experience in supporting infrastructure solutions based on VMware vSphere, Veeam Backup and Recovery, NetApp, and TCP/IP technologies.

  • Competitive Salary: A starting salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000, with additional earning potential through overtime and on-call.
