About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager where required. You will also be responsible for communicating with the on-site team and raising awareness with regards to individual care plans and their implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager where required
  • Communicating with the on-site team and raising awareness with regards to individual care plans and their implementation
  • Maintaining accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets and files both to record information and enable regular monitoring and evaluation to take place
  • Providing support and care to the young people within our services
  • Encouraging our young people in their preparation to re-enter education or to engage in their current schooling
  • Traveling with our young people to and from School or College
  • Preparing food at meal times and maintaining the home (cleaning, laundry etc.) throughout the day to ensure a wonderful environment for the young people in our care
Requirements
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Must have the desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Children & Younger Peoples workforce
  • Requirements for DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice
