Job Summary:

We are seeking a Support Staff Supervisor to join our team in Wiltshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Health & Social Care, with experience in leadership or management roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team of support staff
  • Developing person-centred support plans, policies, and risk assessments for service users
  • Implementing rotas and overseeing annual leave approvals
  • Addressing complaints and grievances professionally
  • Line managing support staff, including supervisions and training needs identification
  • Evaluating system and resource utilization, ensuring compliance with policies
  • Maintaining up-to-date equipment and PPE supplies
  • Supporting service checks, medication audits, and health and safety assessments

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license
  • 5+ years in Health & Social Care, with 2 years in a leadership or management role
  • Experience transitioning care packages and setting up new ones
  • NVQ 3 and preferably NVQ 4 (desirable)
  • Experience working with people with learning difficulties, mental health diagnoses, and autism
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
