Job Title: Communications and PR Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Communications and PR Manager to lead our external communications efforts at Redgate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering the external communications strategy, managing our PR agencies, and contributing to our objectives to ramp awareness and bring Redgate's story to life for our target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and deliver the external communications programme, including the recommendation of objectives and KPIs.
  • Oversee public relations, collaborating with teams to develop news stories. Manage PR agencies and work with the Communications Director to set and measure goals.
  • Support Redgate's analyst relations, working with the AR agency, supporting briefing development and management, and overseeing content projects.
  • Help create and implement a plan for communicating Redgate's environmental, social, and governance program.
  • Identify and lead projects to improve Redgate's external communication.
  • Provide leaders with trusted communications advice and guidance on external communications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in external communications, either in an external communications team, PR team, or at a PR agency, with experience of managing a small team directly or managing contractors or agencies.
  • Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail, and ideally, experience in a B2B, tech, or database environment.
  • You have experience of working directly with the media, with relevant media contacts an advantage.
  • You've worked with or for international organizations, with North American or DACH region experience an advantage.
