The Role

We're seeking an experienced Communications and PR Manager to lead our external communications efforts. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering our external communications strategy, managing PR agencies, and contributing to our objectives to increase awareness and bring our story to life for our target audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the external communications programme, including setting objectives and KPIs.
  • Oversee public relations, collaborating with teams to develop news stories and manage PR agencies.
  • Support Redgate's analyst relations, working with the AR agency to develop briefings and manage content projects.
  • Help create and implement a plan for communicating Redgate's environmental, social, and governance programme.
  • Identify and lead projects to improve Redgate's external communication.
  • Provide leaders with trusted communications advice and guidance on external communications.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in external communications, either in an external communications team, PR team, or at a PR agency, with experience of managing a small team directly or managing contractors or agencies.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail, and ideally, experience in a B2B, tech, or database environment.
  • Experience of working directly with the media, with relevant media contacts an advantage.
  • Experience of working with or for international organizations, with North American or DACH region experience an advantage.
