Job Title: Production Planner

Location: Llangefni

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Job Type: 12 month fixed term contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team at a global food manufacturer in Llangefni. As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in planning and managing production schedules for three sites to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of customer orders
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and purchasing teams to achieve effective planning and on-time delivery
  • Assist in maintaining and improving customer service levels
  • Provide regular updates to the Planning and Logistics Manager, Operations, and commercial teams
  • Track and report weekly customer service levels against budget
  • Communicate daily with site Quality assurance and operations departments for product quality-related issues
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of chilled, frozen, and ambient goods

Requirements:

  • Understanding of site environmental targets and objectives
  • Awareness of site environmental standards and ISO requirements
  • Experience as a production planner in a food manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)
